Australia-China Young Scientists Exchange Program (YSEP)

This is not part of the  Global Connections Fund activities or projects but may be of interest.

The Australia-China Young Scientists Exchange Program (YSEP) is a joint initiative funded by the Australian Department of Industry Innovation and Science and the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). It is supported by the Commonwealth of Australia under the Australia-China Science and Research Fund (science and research knowledge exchange). The 2016 exchanges will take place 25 July- 6 August (Chinese scientists to Australia) and 30 October-11 November (Australian scientists to China)

New Opportunities to Drive Innovation and Science Collaboration

The Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, Christopher Pyne, announced the first round of grants under the Global Connections Fund, at the APEC Science Prize for Innovation, Research and Education (ASPIRE) awards ceremony in Adelaide today.

The Global Connections Fund will provide grants to help Australian researchers and businesses collaborate in the global arena, link with international counterparts and expertise, and seize opportunities and explore collaborative projects in global markets.

Global Connections Fund to Boost Research-to-Industry Innovation

The Australian Government and the Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) today launch a new initiative to build sustainable global linkages for Australian SMEs and researchers in the area of science and technology.
